For any organization understanding and implementation of Industry Standards can be very tedious and un-ending story. Poorly defined Quality management system or process can cause unfavorable situations for an organization making it difficult to keep customers satisfied and attain business goals. We assist in development and implementation of QMS/ process to assure long-term and immediate success. Qualigile Technologies with its expertise in this field has created a "3-Step Approach" to successfully implement the industry standards. We Support in implementation of Industry standards like Automotive SPICE/ IATF 16949/ CMMI into the organization. Integration of multiple standards can be done as per the need of organization.
"3 Step- Approach":
Gap Analysis:
Basic function of Gap Analysis process to identify gaps in existing process with respect to the standards. In addition, it is beneficial in multiple ways which is given as below:
-
Understand As-is process, current tools, current process & procedures
-
Identify the gaps in existing process with respect to the Standards
-
Make decision of re-use, modification or replacement of existing process, tools, guidelines, etc.
-
Identify best fit solution for the gaps with minimal change to existing process. This will help implement change minimum change to existing process and with minimum efforts
-
Identify waste or duplication of process steps in existing process
-
Create a lean process to eliminate waste or duplicate process steps
-
Identify Value Chain
Define:
This step includes creating of QMS (Quality management System) or define Organizational process which is implementable. In this step all the gaps identified as a part of gap analysis shall be closed. Process improvements in existing process shall be done wherever necessary to eliminate waste. Definition of Lean process with minimal change in existing process shall be done so that the process is implementable and easily understandable by the users of process. This step will also consist of versioning, archiving, backup, roll out and maintenance of the Organizational process
Implement:
It is important that the process users use the Organizational process to get best results. It is also important that process users share their best practices with the organization so that process users in other projects too can seek the benefits of best practices. Each individual process user can participate in improving the Organizational process where ever possible by raising process improvements. This will help sharing of best practices and in turn it will slowly start transforming the quality culture within organization. These are some of the proactive steps that the pupil in organization will take to improve the quality of the product within an organization. Quality cannot be inspected into a product or service it must be built into it.
Implement Step Includes below sub-steps:
Create Implementation Plan:
Implementation plan shall be created which will help us identify how to implement the change, when and its impacts. This will help us understand the structured approach for training team members, decide which projects to undergo change first and which projects to undergo change at later stage.
Training:
Training shall be provided to all the team members within organization. To do this we can use “Role Based Training approach”. Individuals in each role shall be trained together focusing on the contents that is important to that particular role.
Project Process Usage:
After process users are trained, each process user shall implement the updated process in their projects. Any difficulties while implementing the updated process shall be supported by the process consultants so that there is no resistance to change and there is complete hand holding to the users so that change can be adopted easily. Each individual process user can participate in improving the Organizational process where ever possible by raising process improvements. This will help sharing of best practices with the organization and begin the cycle of continuous improvement.
